Easily accessible by air from Toronto, Vancouver, and Seattle, and located 45 minutes south-east of Kelowna, in the Central Interior of B.C., Big White Ski Resort is Canada’s largest totally ski-in/ski-out resort village.
Overlooking the spectacular Monashee Mountains, Big White receives over 750 cm (24.5 ft) of champagne powder snow annually. Big White has everything you would expect from a world-class ski and snowboard resort but without the lift lines.
Big White has many restaurants and pubs, a convenience store, bakery, equipment sales, rental and repair, coffee shop, internet cafe, souvenir store, cash machines, medical clinic and lots more.

Big White provides a true Canadian winter experience!
Big White boasts, "We use only dry, natural Okanagan Powder." The village sits at 5,700 feet (B.C.'s highest base area) and lifts carry skiers up to 7,600 feet. That's about the same elevation as Whistler Blackcomb, but the air and snow are considerably dryer this far inland. One of Big White's signature features is its tree skiing.
Big White boasts a longer than average ski season running from mid-November to mid-April.
With four high-speed quads and nine lifts, skiers and snowboarders can explore a wide range of terrain, including phenomenal powder bowls, glades and marked trails.
Big White also has three state of the art snowboard parks and half-pipes built to competition standards. There are also 25 km(15.5 miles) of cross-country trails. The Bullet high-speed quad and Plaza quad chairs access night skiing and riding five nights a week. 38 acres are illuminated for night skiing and riding.
Big White Ski Resort has one of the largest International Ski Schools with programs designed for all ages and abilities. Snowhosts provide daily complimentary ski tours of the mountain for those wishing a guided adventure.

Here you will find over 100 ski runs and glade areas spread out over 2,075 acres of skiing and riding terrain. From tree runs and open bowls to snowboard parks and natural pipes, Big White is a hit with skiers and riders alike. There's every kind of run for every level of skier and rider.
BEGINNERS The good news is that beginners can experience the whole mountain as there is a green run from the top of every lift and Big White has an excellent ski school.
INTERMEDIATES Big White has a great family ski area where the whole family can ski together. There is a brilliant selection of runs, all neatly groomed and rollercoast through the trees.
ADVANCED There is a great choice of black runs at Big White, and there are glades and steep slopes in abundance. Take a look at the Parachute Bowl for the ultimate challenge.
SNOWBOARD GUIDE As well as enjoying the great champagne powder at Big White, and the network of runs available to all abilities, there are also three snowboarding (two at competition level) parks to experience.
Snowboarders of all skill levels find adventure at Big White. For freestylers, there are three snowboard parks and two half-pipes. The resort is home to a world-class Super Pipe with a 17-foot transitional pipe and a full length of 425 feet. There are also 714 acres of powder bowls and 527 acres of open glades. |  | | |
